European Skill Competitions

European Skills Competitions

EuroSkills takes place every two years in a Member country and is the biggest vocational education and skills excellence event in Europe.

Young people up to the age of 25 from countries across Europe compete in more than 40 different skills at the event.

At the heart of each EuroSkills event are the skills competitions, supported by activities such as ‘try a trade’. Hundreds of Europe’s most talented young men and women, selected through national skills competitions, take part in EuroSkills to try and become the best in Europe in their area of expertise.

During the competition, Members, international industry partners, governmental agencies, and educational institutions come together to encourage a world-class standard of skills and competences in Europe.

This partnership between students, governmental and private institutions, and civil society organisations is unique within Europe.
